What is the difference between the following?
Feeds, multi-feeds, publish user action and stream? Are they not all the same where the user just publishes into their stream?
Thanks

Hi,
publish_user_action is the oldest of them all. It allowed a third part app to post an entry onto your user's profile page via an api call. FB has already discontinued it, so it's a non-issue.
Honestly, I could never get feedstory and multifeedstory straight. As far as I can tell, feedstory is kinda like a broadcast, while multifeedstory allows you to target the feed to specific friends. They, too, are deprecated.
This leaves us stream. Stream is live and well, and obviously it's what you show use. Unlike its predecessors, it doesn't require the developer to register a stream/feed template before hand. A third party app can post stream directly via an api call if the user has previously granted the app the proper permission. Otherwise, it will have to go thru the dialog popup confirmation process.

Hello, Lih,
We are also trying to understand the difference between feed stories and stream stories, and notice that both tabs are available in the Kontagent portal under the Virality tab.
I am looking for guidelines on when a post-to-wall should be captured as a stream story and when it should be captured as a feed story. Our understanding is that posts to 'my' wall should be a feed story, while posts to a friend's wall should be a stream story. I have been unable to find definitive Facebook definitions for these terms, and would appreciate any help you can provide.
Apologies if the question is too simplistic or vague - I'll be happy to provide details if needed

Hi Geeta,
What call do you make to post to friend's wall, and what call do you make to post on your own wall?
