We are pleased to announce a number of new features to the dashboard today. Here are the highlights:
Annotations
You can now create annotations for graphs. These can be configured as private or public (so your notes can be shared with other users in your account).
Custom Dashboard Changes
You can share pages with other users.
You can make copies of existing elements on a page.
You can now display your data in table format in addition to the graph format.
The method for selecting a page to view has been improved for cases where you have a large number of pages.
Event Tracking (closed beta)
If you are part of the event tracking beta program, feel free to contact support for details on the changes.

These changes are great! I'm excited to have the ability to move graphs between pages. I also really like the ability to have private and public pages.
I like the idea of the annotations, but am finding them to be a bit cumbersome. I would like to be able to add an annotation with the option of having it included on just one graph, or on all graphs. For example, if we had a significant event on 8/12 that impacted a all of our metrics, I would want to be able to note that without having to add it individually to 20 different graphs. Also, it would be really useful to have the annotations included as an additional field in the data export.
Thanks for the update!

Thanks Allison for your feedback and suggestions! We're very glad to hear that you find these new features valuable!
We encourage our customers to contribute ideas through our Ideas forum where they can be voted on and discussed by the user community. It also makes it easier for us to track internally and provides a mechanism for us to show an idea's status (e.g. Planned, Done, etc.)
